The “drink” Ben referenced:
Aunt Rosie’s Loganberry
(That’s WAY too expensive from Amazon, but this is just proving it’s a real thing and Ben didn’t make it up)
The only Faygo flavor Shawn says is worth trying:
Faygo “Rock & Rye”
(still pretty spendy from Amazon)
The thing Michiganders drink when they’re sick, usually warmed up:
Vernor’s Ginger Ale
(look, Amazon is not an affordable way to purchase regional beverages, it seems…)
And it looks like Danielle wasn’t lying:
Dr. Brown’s “Cel-Ray” Soda
(And I might have to order this, jacked up price and all…)
The history of Dr. Pepper on Wikipedia
And it appears Shawn was absolutely wrong about Tutti-Frutti having a unique history of chemical creation. He can’t find any evidence that the flavor had anything other than a wholesome history of real fruit and brandy. Never trust Shawn.
Also, some of the links above are affiliate links. It doesn’t cost you anything to click on them, but if you end up buying those over-priced beverages from Amazon, they’ll send us a few pennies as a thank you.
But really, that’s WAY too much to spend on those drinks.
